Year Reception - we have been subsidising number up to 10 using our fast eyes to know the numbers from the patterns.  We are practising writing numerals and will soon be moving on to 2d shape. 

Year 1 - We will be completing two step maths problems using multiplication and division as well as addition and subtraction.  We will be learning days of the week and months of the year.  Next week we will be looking at the tens and unit value of numbers up to 100.  

This term our topic is HOLIDAYS! We kick-start the term with the story 'The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch' where we meet Mr Grindling and his problem with the greedy seagulls eating his lunch.  We will be helping him with a solution, writing shopping lists and creating our own sandwiches.
