Children who read 3 or more times will gain a tick/point. Bluebells are hoping for 50 ticks and we can get an item of food in our picnic basket. Please make sure a comment or date is noted in your child's reading diary. Thank you.
Happy Reading!

Time was going on and Bluebells were getting more and more worried about the egg not being with the parent Dragon. We came up with the idea of writing letters and drawing a map so the egg could be found.
After much discussion on whether we should shake biscuits, use a hot air balloon or leave a trail of marshmallows to help guide the dragon to us, we went with the marshmallow trail. Busy Bluebells set out to work immediately and sure enough, when all was quiet, the Dragon came for her egg. Although a HUGE mess was left and some Dragon dribble, we didn't mind as they had been reunited together. A little note in scruffy Dragon handwriting had been left for us too. We hope we get a message again soon. Well done to all that were helping with the search. Bluebells children have been taking care of a lost Dragon egg. We found it in our garden and the mother must be so worried!
Our new topic is Castles, Knights and Dragons. See below for our topic overview of learning. The children in Bluebells had a wonderful time exploring the Muslim faith today. We looked closely at Mosques and the beautiful patterns in them. We then created our own patterns and built Lego Mosques. |
