How do the Christian use the story of the Nativity to guide their beliefs?

We looked at advent wreaths and their symbolism to Christians representing values of joy, hope, love and peace and how they may motivate Christians behaviour, but the most important candle is lit to celebrate Jesus's birthday

L.O What do I have to be thankful for at Christmas time? 
This session, we looked at the significance of the advent wreath and how it is used in churches as a decoration, but also as part of the service to remind Christians of different values: hope, love, joy, peace and the last one to celebrate Jesus's birthday each week. We also looked at the people of the Bible who are remembered on each week. We thought about how Christians try and emulate each value and what we can learn from them.
