Lots of lovely comments here around friendships and when the children have had a friend.
"Ella always helps me when I am sad."
"Eliza is my friend because she plays with me."
"Kalina is my friend because she is so nice."
"I have an imaginary friend who is really fast and we run together"

Families and Relationships
We have looked at the story 'Five minutes peace' to start our conversations around our families and what funny things happen with our families.  Lots of our children were able to discuss their families, what makes them a family and other special things they do together.  After our circle time we made houses and drew our fabulous families!
Take a look at our super work.

The brilliant Bluebells have made a super start to school.  We have been exploring our learning environment and having lots of fun getting to know each other.  We are reading the story called ‘Kindness is my superpower’.  Kindness is one of our Morda values along with compassion and fairness.  We are looking out for pupils showing kindness and compassion to others in their school life.  This will make us kindness superheroes!

We have also read ‘Giraffe’s Can’t Dance’.  In this story we met Gerald who could not dance as well as his other jungle teammates.  Gerald didn’t give up, he showed courage and carried on.  This is what we will do in class when things get tough for us…. We will have a ‘Gerald moment’ and carry on trying.

Please could children bring in labelled sun cream and a sun hat during this beautiful hot spell of weather.
We had our first PE lesson yesterday Tuesday 7th September.  Our next session will be Thursday 16th September as we alternate Tuesday/Thursday.  PE kits can stay on children’s pegs to avoid any forgotten kits.  They can be washed at half term.  Please practise getting dressed at home.
Our topic is ‘Marvellous Me’.  We will be looking closely at our growing bodies and bone structure and sharing all about our families and home life.
Well Done Brilliant Bluebells on a fantastic start to the Autumn Term.
