PSED/PSHE 26.9.22

We have been thinking lots about our families so this week we thought about our friends in school and the qualities we like about them.  We played lots of fun games including fruit salad to move around the room and visit lots of our friends.  We then discussed being trustworthy and trusting each other not to hurt each other and being kind to everyone.

Dexter said he likes to play with his friends and like them to be the same which is kind and helpful.
Oscar said people should be good at listening and good at taking turns.
Emrys and Liam like their friends to be funny and make people laugh.  We all agreed that laughing with friends is the best!

Welcome! This is our class blog where you will find out some of the amazing things our BRILLIANT BLUEBELL children get up to.

Myself and Mrs Lunt have been so proud of all the children on how they have started the new year.  We have seen some fantastic kind behaviour as our older children have supported the new Reception children.

Our topic this half term is 'Marvellous ME'.  This topic is great for us to get to know all the new children, their families, their likes, dislikes and interests.  Please see below a topic overview for further details on what the children will be covering.

PE is Tuesday/ Thursday and this alternates each week (week beginning 12th September = Thursday 15th)

Forest School is starting Friday 23rd September.  Please bring kit to school.  Lots of layers, a waterproof outer layer and wellies!

Please ask us any questions and refer to the blog for extra information!

We have shared the story of Vashti, who sadly thought they couldn't draw.  The teacher changed Vashti's mindset by framing the wonderful dot! Vashti practiced and practiced getting  better and better.  We told ourselves that if we try and persevere and practice we can do hard things too.  Take a look at some of our dot artwork.
