Bluebells have been working very hard on their music skills and have been learning how to play instruments. We have worked on playing together at the appropriate time, and listening to others whilst playing our instrument. We have also been using our voices in a range of ways. Music from a Theme
Using the inspiration of mountains, Daffodils have been creating a sound-scape to accompany a short film. Paying close attention to pitch, dynamics and tempo, Daffodils have created an original composition to match an animation. Before embarking on their compositional adventure they explored Night on a bare Mountain and thought about the different elements of the piece. The then used musical rhythms to tell a story and create a narrative using musical language to aid their adventure.
