Daffodils: Who was Baby Jesus?

In Daffodils today we looked at pictures of 'The Beast' from Beauty and the Beast. We discussed our initial thoughts about how he appeared in the beginning and end of the story. Was he who he appeared to be?
We then looked at pictures of Baby Jesus, our initial thoughts were that "he was a cute and cuddly baby" (Imogen). But Christians would describe him as, not just a special baby but God on earth!

Bluebells: What do Christians believe God is like?

Today the children in Bluebells were introduced to the important people in the Christmas Story.  We talked about what part they played in the story and who Christians would say was the most important.

"Baby Jesus is the most important because he was a very special man" said Eliza
