If you would prefer to source your own garments, iron/stitch on Morda Primary badges are available to purchase from the school office for £2.50 per badge.

Why do we have it?
  • Parents like it.
  • It helps build a sense of belonging and bonds the school community together.
  • It is practical to have a set of clothes for school.
  • It prepares children for secondary school where uniform policies are strict

Morda Uniform

    • Arthog sweatshirts may be worn Year 5 onwards
    • Leavers sweatshirts may be worn in Year 6
  • Navy polo shirt - school logo optional
  • Grey/Black skirt / dress / trousers / formal shorts
    • Navy gingham or striped summer dresses are optional in the summer term
  • Black shoes/boots – only flat or low heels should be worn.
  • Socks – white/grey/navy/black
  • Tights – grey/navy/black

Morda PE kit:
  • Navy t-shirt
  • Navy shorts / tracksuit bottoms
  • Navy sweatshirt / hoodie

Hair
It is preferable for long hair to be tied back – this helps to prevent the transfer of headlice which can be a problem from time to time in Primary schools.
Long hair should always be tied back for PE.

Jewellery
We would advise that wearing excessive amounts of jewellery would be inappropriate especially where it distracts the wearer or others from their learning. Valuable items (both monetary and sentimental) should also be avoided for obvious reasons.
Jewellery must be removed or covered with tape for safety reasons during PE.
