The monks of Lindisfarne

We learnt about the Lindisfarne raid that happened on the 8th June 793AD. We used drama to help with our first-person narratives, writing as the monks. The following week we wrote the narrative from the point of view of the Vikings. The children loved it and created some wonderful written pieces of work.
