Welcome to our class! Our teachers are Mrs Franks and Mrs Lunt, supported by our teaching assistants, Miss Hickson and Miss Lewis. We are all passionate about early years learning and adapt our classroom to reflect the needs and developmental stages of every pupil. We aim to make learning fun every day, with Forest School on Fridays and PE on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Learning in our class

We are all passionate about early years learning and adapt our classroom to reflect the needs and developmental stages of every pupil. We aim to make learning fun every day following the Early years curriculum and the 7 areas of learning;

Communication and language, Physical development, Personal and social development, Literacy, Mathematics, Expressive arts and design, and finally understanding the world. 

This term we are studying Ourselves.  We are focussing on our families, wellbeing, sense of belonging in families, friendships and our school.  We will cover all of this through many fun activities daily.

Wider experiences and opportunities

Forest School on Fridays and PE on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

PE kit to be worn to school on these days. 

We have an allotment behind our Bluebells garden and aim to grow some delicious vegetables with the help of our pupils.  Wellies in school is always a big help. 

Our values 

We discuss and practice our values throughout our daily play. These are courage, compassion and fairness.
