Welcome to the Buttercups Class
A warm welcome from the Buttercups class team!
Welcome to Buttercups! We are delighted to welcome your children to the start of their Key Stage 1 journey. Year 1 is a pivotal and exciting year, marking a smooth transition from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) into a more structured learning environment.
Our primary objective this year is to foster independent learning, curiosity, and resilience. Through a balanced curriculum, we place a strong emphasis on foundational literacy and phonics, core mathematical concepts, and inquiry-based learning.
