The Roses have been deeply involved in their Stone Age Mantle of the Expert drama- having discovered a Palaeolithic Cave full of amazing cave art, they were commissioned by the National History Museum to create a replica cave and display about the stone age. the children have been writing letters, creating cave art and writing information texts about the three period of the Stone Age. Today we spent time in a Mesolithic Village in Doggerland with the Stone Age inhabitants. Little did they know that a huge today wave would drown the whole area of land and Britain would be come an island!
The Roses class PSHE this term so far has focussed on 'Our Class Rules' which we decided together; how to have a 'Growth Mindset' ; how to know what bullying is and different types of families their joys and challenges.
We have also been talking about democracy and took part in the elections of our School Council. The children have been able to speak really well about these important life lessons. Mrs C and Mrs O |
