We have been learning the story 'The Whales Song' by Dyan Sheldon as part of our talk for writing. We will then use this story, to innovate and create our own. During our PSHE sessions we have been thinking about keeping safe on the roads. We looked at different situations and discussed some of the dangers we could see and the best place to cross the road and how to cross safely. We also watched the safer journeys anthem and discussed how they could keep safe on the road https://www.think.gov.uk/resource/safer-journeys-anthem
Last week, we had a fantastic time taking part in lot's of different activities. We started off the week with an inspirational talk by Darren Edwards, the disabled adventurer. This got us in the right mind set to keep going, even when things get tough. Sports day highlights...... On Tuesday, we were joined by AJ who taught us a brilliant dance routine. We really enjoyed learning the different moves! We enjoyed a session of cricket, where we learnt how to bowl a wicket! Water safety. We found out how we could stay safe near the water and what we could do if we got into danger. Can you spot the dangers on the picture? Picture find. We worked with Bluebells class to find the location of different pictures of things around the school.
