What a wonderful festive time we have had in daffodils. A trip to the panto, singing at Hope House, Christmas dinner, Daffodils party afternoon, a movie night and the most important treat....a visit from Santa himself! Have a magical Christmas and a Happy new year!

Today we put our food combination choices to the test and we each made a healthy wrap. The filling choices included mayonnaise, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, spring onion, egg mayonnaise, tuna & sweetcorn, ham, cheddar cheese, soft cheese and houmous. We tried to include foods that were salad, protein (tuna, ham, egg) and dairy (cheese) to keep our wraps balanced and healthy. The verdict:
Scrumptious delicious, soggy in a good way, - we'd give them 10/10. Can we make some for our parents? ...Watch this space! Through our mantle, the children became tour operators to help a business in Madrid. They were required to write a persuasive information text all about Madrid and a Spanish vocabulary book. Here are just a few of our fantastic pieces of work!
What makes us unique? We created a class poem using a Kenning format. Daffodils Wonderful Me! I am a.... Chocolate-eater, Football-player, Tree-climber, Cookie-eater, Wood-walker, Story-creator, Sweet -eater, Friend-keeper. PSHE - Internet safetyWe talked about what the internet is and how we can stay safe. We talked about the internet not being owned by anyone and that anyone can use it. It is important that when we use the internet, we use it safely.
