The children in Bluebells talked long and hard about the gifts they hope Father Christmas will bring them on Christmas day, but what do Christians believe was the Christmas gift? We learnt that Christians believe Baby Jesus was the gift from God for us all to share.

The first day of advent saw the Daffodils being presented with advent calendars and a great discussion about the traditions that surround this special time. We listened closely to some Christmas Carols and talked about their meaning. Finally it was time to finish our cards, so we can share our love this Christmas with our families.
