16/01/24 Big School's Garden Birdwatch preparation.

We are going to take part in the RSPB's Big School's Garden Birdwatch towards the end of January.

Today we did a bit of preparation. 
We fed the birds with dried mealworms (Blackbirds love this food), peanuts (for the Finches) and sunflower hearts (for smaller garden birds like Bluetits). 

We discussed where to position our bird hide and collected camouflage to disguise it, so the birds won't get spooked by it. 

We had enough time to do some fun adventurous activities of our own.
