Class picnic on the field

We had a lovely picnic with games on the field to celebrate the end of term.  The children sang to me a version of my "happy song" (Don't leave me this way by The Communards) which they had been practising in secret with Mrs Humphreys. 

Finally the children gave me a beautiful heart picture of thumb prints and a card to say goodbye.
Alps - you have been super learners and a fabulous group to teach this year - in school and at home.  I will miss you all!  And a special thankyou to Mrs Humphreys for being a great job share.  Good luck to everyone for next year in Daffodils.  Best wishes and virtual hugs from Mrs Edwards
