Daffodils were pleased to welcome Fire Officer James Lewis into school to give us an update on how to stay safe in our homes and how to protect our families should a fire break out.
The Daffodils crew were very knowledgeable and had remembered lots from a previous visit. They were reminded to check that smoke alarms were in good working order and to keep keys for double glazed windows close to hand. They were asked to discuss with parents, a sensible fire escape route to use at home in an emergency. The tactic to use if your clothes are on fire is still, "Stop, drop and roll!" Thank you for sharing your good advice James.
