The Autumn colours are beginning to show in our Forest School, mainly greens, yellows and browns at the moment. We collected samples of all the different shades we could find, ready to do some printing next time. We each had a special, shiny gift, all amazingly wrapped up in nature's own way! Brand new conkers! They are the fruits/nuts of the Horse Chestnut tree. We also had an acorn each, which is the fruit/nut of the Oak tree. We were surprised that the huge Horse Chestnut and Oak trees that we see in woods and fields all around us, begin their journey as a small conker or acorn. We finished our session with some adventurous activities and fun! We are all getting more confident and we enjoy building our friendships! Check out the smiles!
