Today was the day to cook the enormous courgette! It grew really quickly. It measured a whopping 44cm and weighed the same as 500 maths cubes!
We all helped to chop it up and enjoyed it fried with a little garlic. Also from our allotment we pulled up the potatoes, washed and chopped them. We enjoyed these with some mint from our garden. Here are some super snaps of our culinary morning.

During our geography sessions we researched Wales and found Welsh Cakes! They looked delicious and on Jude's request we have made them. Here's the fun we had measuring, pouring, weighing and kneeding. The best bit was eating them!
Huge thanks to Jenny Tesco Welshpool community champion for purchasing the ingredients needed. In Bluebells, we have been learning about pitch which are high and low tones. We have been listening to superhero music and using it as inspiration for our own compositions about our favourite superheroes! |
