In our class literacy book Rosie's Walk, one character is a cheeky fox who wants to catch Rosie. last week we had a visit from the farmer who is getting worried about these foxes and the trouble they are causing to his hens.
He was asking for our help. We imagined ourselves as a team of Fox rescue hunters and set to work on creating a trap to catch the fox. the trap had to be one that did not hurt any of the animals. We helped catch them and made a better, more secure fence for the farmer BUT... someone noticed fox babies had been left behind! they are now missing their mother fox. What should we do? Thanks to Tim Taylor for helping Bluebells have great fun and a wonderful learning experience during this session.
