PSHE - Spring 1 - Week 1: Online Friendships

Today, we thought about who our friends are (both in school and outside of school). We discussed friends, acquaintances (those we've met but don't know very well) and friends made online (who we've never met). Some of us shared that we have friends whom we've only met online - mainly through online gaming and friends of friends.

We discussed what we know about different types of friends and what we should and shouldn't share with friends whom we've never met in person or don't know very well. It also led to the discussion of how you should never share personal passwords with anyone!

We finished the lesson by using the acronym - THINK

N - is it Necessary?
K - is it Kind?
